This year's North American Championship will be part of the
world wide 50th Anniversary of the Flying Dutchman. The event will be
held at the very prestigious Larchmont Yacht Club. The sponsor of the
event, HSBC bank, will be providing the prizes. The first place trophy will
be nothing less than two one-ounce medals of pure gold!
Larchmont has hosted FD regattas before, and it is a fabulous place
to sail in the fall. There will be fleets of Etchells, Shields,
IOD, 6-Meter, 8-Meter and 12-Meter yachts racing at the club the same
